Listen Now—”MomBod: It Takes a Village” Podcast

There’s an episode for that.

When you hear the term “mom bod,” you might think it’s just about how your body changes after childbirth. But motherhood changes so much more than that—it transforms your identity, your priorities, and how you see the world.

As a full-time working mom, military wife, and health advocate, I know firsthand how challenging and beautiful this journey can be. Sleepless nights, juggling careers, managing family, and finding time for yourself—it can feel overwhelming. But here’s the truth: none of us have to do it alone.

On this podcast, I’ll share honest stories, practical tips, and expert conversations to inspire you, support you, and remind you that together, we’re stronger.

So if you’re ready to embrace the chaos, celebrate the wins, and find your village, you’re in the right place.

Self Identity Crisis MomBod: It Takes A Village

Our sense of identity comes from the choices we make about things like relationships, career, hobbies, friendships and lifestyle. These choices often reflect who we are and what we value in life. Motherhood causes a major shift in identity. New moms can sometimes feel like they have lost not only their social life, sexiness, or value as a working professional, but more importantly, THEMSELVES. Whether it was planned to have a kid or not, reality sets in! This doesn’t mean that you don’t love your kid(s) or that you aren’t doing a good job as a parent or wife. It just means that you may need some time to rediscover yourself. In this episode I reveal what helps me feel more like myself again since having kids, and I give you 5 additional tips to consider in order to regain your self identity and overall self worth. “You were someone before you were their mom and she matters too”.
